Our Story
We are AZ Sultry Suds, your local provider of handcrafted soaps and other bath essentials.
My name is Susana, for most of my life I have been blessed with the opportunity to take care of my family as a stay at home mother. When my sons, Erik and Armando, flew the nest in pursuit of their college degrees I found myself with extra time and not enough to do. My husband, Moises, has always had dry skin, especially since living in Arizona.
That’s where it all began… I started looking for natural ways to help my husband with his itchy back and I found goat’s milk melt-and-pour soap. The more soap I made, the more excited I got. Now, eleven years later we are happy to continue to sell our products to our wonderful community in Arizona.
We are a small, family-owned business. I am so grateful to be able to share this with all members of my family. My husband is in charge of packaging, labeling, and setting up our booths at the local farmer’s markets. My sons, spend their Saturdays selling soap throughout the valley while I focus on making new and exciting soaps to share with all of you.
AZ Sultry Suds is dedicated to spreading the word about the health and environmental benefits of natural glycerin soap vs. commercially-made detergent soaps.
We believe quality ingredients really make a difference! Where we can, we source our ingredients locally. Otherwise, I spend the time ensuring that our partners are reputable companies based in the US that provide us with responsibly sourced products. Our ingredients are never tested on animals!
We are always researching the best ways to make our soaps, looking at better formulas and ingredients. Over the years, our line has expanded to include several Phthalate Free and vegan formulas.
